Yi Lin Zheng, Esq. (我说普通话和广东话)

Las Vegas criminal defense and personal injury attorney

Throughout Clark County’s legal community, Yi Lin Zheng maintains a reputation for reasoned analysis, efficient litigation, hardline negotiation, ruthless advocacy, and professional courtesy. She is devoted to giving each and every one of her clients the finest criminal defense and personal injury representation available. Nevada’s judges know her as a zealous and effective trial attorney, though she also has an excellent record of favorably settling cases without going to trial at all.

Yi Lin Zheng began her legal career as a runner for legendary Las Vegas lawyer John Momot back in 1999 when she was a college student at UNLV. Under John Momot’s mentorship and supervision, Yi Lin Zheng rose in the ranks to receptionist, legal assistant, office manager, law clerk, associate attorney, and finally law partner in 2009. When John Momot passed away after a decade-long partnership, Yi Lin Zheng carried on the practice, ultimately renaming it Vegas Golden Law and expanding its practice to include personal injury.

Yi Lin Zheng, a Chinese-American, has the distinction of being one of the few Nevada lawyers fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as well as English.

Andrew Wong, Esq.

Las Vegas criminal defense attorney

Las Vegas criminal defense attorney Andrew Wong provides the highest-quality legal representation for his clients. Mr. Wong’s practice is focused on federal criminal cases, where he is a zealous, tireless advocate for defendants accused of felony or misdemeanor offenses. Mr. Wong does not have cases, he has clients.

Mr. Wong moved to Las Vegas in 2015 to clerk for a federal magistrate judge. After a brief stay in Fresno, California to serve as an assistant federal public defender, Mr. Wong moved back to Las Vegas in 2018 to continue his work with indigent criminal defendants. As an assistant federal public defender, Mr. Wong primarily represented clients charged with gun crimes, drug crimes, supervised release violations, immigration crimes, and federal misdemeanors.

Mr. Wong has successfully litigated dozens of motions to suppress and motions to dismiss in federal court. Many times, these motions would result in a favorable resolution to the case or outright dismissal. Mr. Wong has extensive experience defending clients charged with offenses on public land. Because of this experience, the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern Nevada asked Mr. Wong to speak on federal public land offenses at a recent “know your rights” presentation.

In addition to his federal criminal defense practice, Mr. Wong serves on the State Bar of Nevada’s Disciplinary Board for Southern Nevada and the State Bar of Nevada’s Fee Dispute Resolution Committee.

Mr. Wong also advocates for the broader Asian American community as a commissioner on the Clark County Asian American and Pacific Islander Community Commission.

Mr. Wong previously served as an assistant federal public defender in the District of Nevada and the Eastern District of California.
